Friday Night Development
Please join us weekly from Friday April 10th until Friday August 14th at Pearkes Arena for our development sessions. Please note NO sessions on the Friday May 15th.
These sessions are open to CRFMHA Members ONLY.
All eligible participants will receive it directly.
Please register by birth year only - no substitutions. Registration is aligned with player placement for the 2026-27 season. Goalies please register and your times/group will be determined after the first session (email to follow for those that register)

no parents allowed in the change room for U13 and above. A volunteer sign up sheet will be going out to have two parents monitoring the changing rooms.

INTRODUCING REIGN 3ON3!
CRFMHA is excited to launch the REIGN 3on3 Spring League, featuring four teams made up of U15 and U18 players (2008 - 2012) with a competitive mindset who are looking to develop their speed, skills, and game sense through a fun, fast-paced, and challenging spring hockey program. Exemptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
The REIGN 3on3 season will run from March 31st to June 6th and will consist of games only.
Four teams will be formed. Full participation is required, and the program will only run if sufficient numbers of players and goalies register. CRFMHA reserves the right to cancel the program if minimum registration numbers are not met.
This is a player-centered program designed to encourage communication, leadership, and on-ice decision-making. Coaches and referees will oversee the games to ensure safety and respect, while players are encouraged to direct play and work collaboratively with teammates.

CRFMHA U13 Competitive Pathways Program.
There will be eight sessions for those girls who have played Rep ('A') hockey before OR for those who are planning on trying out for the competitive season in 2026-2027 (birth years 2014 & 2015).
These sessions will be system-based, high-paced and require good fundamental skills and a strong determination to succeed at the next level. Minimum of two years experience playing hockey is recommended.
The coaches will be those who intend on applying for the Head Coach role of the 2026-2027 season.
Cost for the eight sessions is: $110
We will cap this program at 20 participants and 4 goalies per division

Hockey Canada Development Hub
Hockey Canada Development Hub – Victoria, a new player development initiative being piloted this spring in partnership with BC Hockey and the Victoria Royals. Designed for players from U9 through U18, the Hub will deliver standardized, twice-weekly on- and off-ice programming from March 31 to May 28, as well as summer camps in August, all taking place at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Programming will be led by Hockey Canada Certified Skills Coaches, Guest Coaches, and support from the Royals staff.
The launch of the Hockey Canada Development Hub – Victoria reflects the Victoria Royals organization’s commitment to fostering the growth of players and hockey programs across the region, with a strong focus on advancing player development and creating opportunities for players of all skill levels and backgrounds.

U9 PATHWAYS - JAN 10-MARCH14, 2026
CRFMHA is excited to offer U9 players an opportunity to develop their skills through a series of professional-led training sessions this season!
These sessions are designed for players who are looking to strengthen their understanding of the game, refine advanced skills, and prepare for higher levels of competition.
Led by a variety of professional coaches, each session will focus on key areas such as skating technique, edge work, puck control, positional play, and overall game awareness.
The program includes 7 sessions, held on Saturday's from January 10 to March 14 at Pearkes Recreation Centre (3:15 - 4:00 pm).
