The NHL/NHLPA First Shift is open to children, between the ages of 6 and 10 years old*, who have never previously enrolled in minor hockey within Canada or the NHL/NHLPA First Shift program.

We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting THREE (Fall 2025, Winter 2026 and Spring 2026) First Shift programs for the 2025-26 season!

Registration Open June 2, 2025 at 9am pacific time.

**New This Year** You will need to create a Hockey Canada Registration account for the player you will be registering.

Session #3 - Saturdays, April 11th to May 23rd at Pearkes Arena (*gear fit for this session will be Feb 8th with session 2)

Apr 18 - 7am Pearkes Green
Apr 25 - 9am The Q Centre
May 2 - 7:30am Pearkes Gold
May 9 - 7:30am Pearkes Gold

*To be eligible to participate, children must be born between January 1, 2015 and May 1, 2020.
This program offers 1, one hour ice session per week for 6 weeks. Registration cost is $299 which includes brand new Bauer gear for you player to keep!
