One parent of a player MUST complete the Shift Forward (formerly Respect in Sport) For Hockey Canada Parents by October 31st, 2026!
The Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders will NOT be accepted

If you have an existing Respect in Sport for Parents certification this will be accepted - if you have not completed Respect in Sport for Parents you will need to complete the Shift Forward for Parents. The parents certification does not have an expiry date.

Communication Matrix
Who to approach with a concern.  Please start at the Team Staff level, if you feel your concern has not been resolved then move to the Director level. 
* Each team must designate an Ice Liason who will be the team's only contact person for ice scheduling purposes.  There is a single Ice Liason per team.
**For parental concerns regarding coaching, concerns can be directed through the Team Manager to the Director of Coaching; concerns with Management can be directed through the Head Coach to the Director of Managers.  In the event that there is a close relationship between Team Manager and Head Coach, the concern can be raised with the appropriate Director.
