Experienced coaches will be out on the ice and we will get gear for players that want to get some experience with the position.

This program will be geared towards those in U7-U15 who want to try goaltending for the first time, or those who have limited experience and want some extra training.

This program is FREE, but advance registration is required and gear should be requested in advance.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact Andre Wuest (Director of Goaltending): goaltending@crfmha.ca

Reign Spring Hockey - Registration is now Closed

Spring tryouts for the 2024 season are HERE!!

Please read below for some important information regarding 2024 spring tryouts and expectations:

Tryouts will be held over two days on Jan 6 and 7. Exact times and locations are TBD. The deadline to register is Jan 1, 2024 and you will receive your ice times shortly after.

Teams will be formed based on year of birth ie: 2012 team, 2011 team etc. If teams cannot be formed from a single year of birth, two ages may be combined to form a team and will tryout as such (U11, U13, U15).

The season will run from April 1 until June 1, beginning with a development component prior to any competition.  We will attempt to assign every development group 2 practices per week, but this may vary due to ice allocation. One of those two practices may be early morning.

The cost for tryouts is $30 and if selected to participate for the season the cost will be $700 per player and $500 per goalie. This will include the practices as mentioned, professional (paid) coaches, spring swag (ie:shorts, or crew neck), and entry into one spring tournament.  The tournament will be mutually decided upon within the team.

Please note that participation in the tournament is not covered through BC Hockey insurance and a component of the program registration fee provides private insurance coverage.

Refund Policy

1. Full refund less $50 Admin fee if a player withdraws within 30 days of being selected for the team, and ONLY if a replacement player is available and accepts the roster spot.  No refunds for withdrawal more than 30 days after the selection date (with exception as in #2 below).

2.  Beyond 30 days from the selection date, the Board will consider requests for refunds in special circumstances (i.e. medical issues with documentation).  These refunds may be pro-rated if the Spring Hockey program has already begun.  No refunds will be granted under any circumstances after FIVE (5) ice times have occurred in the program.
